Legislative Day - Members of CCRW, and CCGOP, to include Board of Education member Kathryn Chadwick, went to the State Legislature and spoke with elected officials about CRT and unmasking our students.
Annual Scholarship / Membership Luncheon - CCRW held their annual Scholarship/Membership event last week at the Dunes Club in Atlantic Beach. During intermission Trey Allen for NC Supreme Court and Amy Kate Budd spoke about the upcoming elections.
North Carolina Federation of Republican Women President Pat Smith was the guest speaker, and we were so honored to have her join us on the coast! The NFRW Convention is coming up in September and CCRW can't wait to join her and their fellow Republican Women to represent NC in Orlando, Fl.
The Scholarship recipients this year are impressive. William Chadwick and Taylor Bundy have been a "little" busy over the last four years, and certainly have bright futures! We couldn't think of two more deserving. We know they'll be stars at NC State and the University of Tennessee. Maybe join the College Republicans? 😉
