Education Committee Supporting Educators

Our Education Committee Chairman, Wanda Fowler (and Carteret County GOP Chairman) was gifted an original art piece from a class of 5th graders she adopted through the Support-a-Teacher program.

The students were studying our Nation's founding documents, and were provided pocket-sized copies of The Constitution. The analyzed the Preamble and chose several classmates to create a piece of artwork illustrating the points they learned. This handmade work of art is currently on display at the Carteret County Republican Headquarters in Morehead City.
